How to use a Floor Scraper?
In the cleaning and maintenance of households and commercial premises, the floor scraper is an indispensable yet often underestimated tool. Whether dealing with wooden floors, tiled floors, or other special material floors, as long as you master the correct usage, it can help you easily overcome various stubborn stains and residue problems.
The preparatory work is of utmost importance. Firstly, select a suitable floor scraper according to the floor material. For wooden floors, it is advisable to choose one with a thinner and gentler blade to prevent scratching; for tiled floors, a scraper with a hard and tough blade is needed to handle its high hardness.
At the same time, prepare protective gloves to protect your hands from accidental injuries; a cleaning cloth for wiping the scraper and the floor at any time; and buckets and cleaners as needed. Different floor stains correspond to different cleaning products. For example, there are special degreasers for removing oil stains, and ordinary cleaners can be used for dealing with daily dust and dirt.

When it comes to the formal operation, if cleaning the stains on the wooden floor, first spray an appropriate amount of special cleaner for wooden floors on the stain and wait for a moment to let it penetrate.
Hold the scraper at an angle of 20° - 30° to the floor and gently scrape along the wood grain with even force. Wipe the dirty matter with a cleaning cloth after a few scrapes, and paying attention to the direction of the wood grain can avoid damaging the natural texture of the floor.
When facing dirt accumulation on the tiled floor, evenly spray the general-purpose tile cleaner, wait for a moment, then hold the scraper at an angle of 30° - 45° to the tile and apply stable force along the laying direction. After each scraping section, wipe the residue with a damp cloth to keep the working surface clean.
If there is impurity in the tile joint, first pry it loose with a small tool and then carefully remove it with the scraper. Keep your eyes on the direction of the scraper throughout the process to strictly prevent scratching the tile.
When working on a large area, divide the area and clean it step by step. After completing one area, conduct a detailed inspection to ensure there is no stain residue and no scratch marks. Mastering the technique, the floor scraper will become your good helper for cleaning, keeping the floor under your feet clean and new at all times, and creating a comfortable environment for life and work.
