How to use a trowel to achieve a good decoration construction effect?
(1) Before use
The appropriate trowel type and size should be selected according to the specific construction content. If you pave mosaic tiles, it is advisable to use a square-toothed trowel, such as the use of a flat-edged trowel may cause the tile to be not firmly pasted.
(2) Mix putty and cement
If you use a trowel to mix putty and cement, it should be used together with a putty knife. Place the putty slurry and cement slurry on the back of the trowel blade, and then use the putty knife to evenly scrape and mix the putty slurry or cement slurry on the blade.
(3) Smooth the wall
When the trowel uses cement or putty to smooth the wall, try to keep it continuous, otherwise it is easy to leave irregular slurry on the surface, which is not beautiful and will affect the construction effect. If there is a misconnection, the surface of the trowel should be filled completely to ensure that the thickness of the cement or putty layer is comparable.
