Recently, Linyi Han Ke Tools Co., Ltd., which specializes in the production of hardware tools such as putty knives, trowels, scrapers, bricklaying knives, and spatulas, actively organized a fire emergency evacuation drill in November.
The aim was to enhance the fire safety awareness and emergency handling capabilities of all employees and ensure the enterprise's work safety without any loopholes.
Before the drill began, General Manager Sun Shengwen delivered an important speech. He pointed out: Fire safety concerns the life and safety of every employee and the stable development of the enterprise. We must always remain vigilant, strictly abide by all fire protection requirements, and never have any fluke mentality. All employees should strengthen fire safety management, continuously improve the fire emergency plan, and regularly carry out fire training and drill activities to ensure that every employee can proficiently master fire safety knowledge and skills and effectively improve the enterprise's fire safety management level.
With the sudden sound of the alarm, the fire emergency evacuation drill officially kicked off. All employees responded quickly and evacuated the production area in an orderly manner according to the predetermined evacuation route. Everyone covered their mouths and noses with their hands and walked in a crouched position to avoid inhaling smoke, demonstrating good emergency literacy and teamwork spirit. During the evacuation process, the heads of each department were conscientious and responsible and actively guided the employees to evacuate, ensuring that every employee could reach the designated assembly point safely and quickly.
After the evacuation drill, it entered the training and practice session on the use of fire extinguishers. After carefully listening to the safety officer's explanation of the use of fire extinguishers, the employees enthusiastically stepped forward to personally experience the process of using fire extinguishers to put out fires. Facing the simulated fire source, they calmly operated the fire extinguishers according to the learned steps and successfully extinguished the flames. Through personal experience, the employees not only mastered the skills of using fire extinguishers but also enhanced the confidence and emergency handling capabilities when facing fires.
Considering that there may be injured people in actual fire accidents, this drill also set up a scene simulation of casualty treatment. It simulated the emergency treatment of common casualties such as burns, scalds, and fractures, including first aid skills such such as wound dressing and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Through this part of the drill, the employees learned some basic first aid skills while mastering fire emergency knowledge, providing an additional layer of protection for ensuring the safety of employees' lives in emergency situations.
Through this fire emergency evacuation drill activity, Linyi Han Ke Tools Co., Ltd. not only enhanced the fire safety awareness of all employees, improved the employees' emergency evacuation and self-rescue and mutual rescue capabilities but also tested the feasibility and effectiveness of the company's fire emergency plan.
