There are five main steps to scrape putty with a putty knife, and you also need to go through these five steps to make the wall smooth and flat, and then we will introduce it step by step.
1. Shovel wall skin: You can do a slight moisturizing experiment to check whether the adhesion of the original coating is qualified.
2. Use 801 glue after the wall is closed: the purpose of this practice is to enhance the bonding force between the putty and the wall. If you encounter an old house, you can brush the interface agent to increase the insurance factor.
3. Yin angle treatment of two-sided elastic line: Yin angle treatment of both sides of the "elastic line" (pay attention to verticality), yang angle treatment with a pole. Use gypsum powder and 801 glue to prepare gypsum putty, and straighten all the gypsum putty. In general, plaster lines are not recommended.
4. Wall leveling: first check whether the wall has a "hollow drum" (can be struck and judged by listening to the sound), and then use a slightly longer aluminum alloy ruler to check the depression of the top and the wall, mark it, and flatten it with gypsum putty.
5. Formal scraping putty: After the gypsum putty is dry, scrape and apply putty (it needs to be dried thoroughly every time). There are two ways to test whether the putty is dry: first, observe whether the color is consistent, and then see if there is a "sticky sandpaper" phenomenon when sanding. Strong light oblique grinding, the top surface can be 360 sandpaper.
